Set up & have a meeting
We will sit down and have a one on one meeting to discuss what you are looking for.

You chose us
Now you've decided to have your van converted by us we will have a second meeting to discuss colours for you conversion

Deposit
We take a non-refundable £500 build slot deposit to secure your build date. (Note: you can still change parts of your conversion)

Delivering your van
When you deliver your van we will:
- Check for damage
- Sign off your build sheet one last time
- We can drop you back at the Colchester Train Station if needed.

Conversion & Collection
We will start your conversion and keep you updated along the way way with email updates and pictures.
Once your conversion is nearing completion we will arrange a collection date with you.
How long does the conversion process take?
Each campervan conversion project begins with a design consultation where we get to know exactly what youre looking for in your campervan conversion project. Following this meeting, we will arrange a suitable build date for you. We typically take between three to six weeks to complete your campervan conversion project once you have dropped your vehicle with us. We will keep you fully updated on the progress of the works, including photos. Please leave plenty of time for your campervan transformation, but rest assured the end results will be worth the wait!
What type of campervans can be converted?
A wide range of vans can be converted into a camper. However, VisionTech Automotive constructs all our rebuilds on the VW Transporter 6.1 model. With this vehicle, you can be assured you’re investing in a van that’s both reliable and safe on the motorway. But not only that, we also promise you a high-class van kitted out with all the comforts of home, including kitchen and bathroom facilities alongside your sleeping quarters as required. The great thing about the VW Transporter 6.1 is that it’s relatively compact, too, which is great for parking.
Does VisionTech Automotive offer a warranty?
Yes, your VW campervan will be fully covered under warranty. We understand our customers have invested in their VW transformation and want the reassurance their vehicle and its fittings will be protected in the years to come. That is why we offer a generous 3-year warranty as standard on all workmanship and appliances fitted by us within your conversion. The only exception to this is any batteries which have a 2-year warranty. If your conversion includes a HiLo roof, this has a 5-year warranty which will be detailed in the HiLo welcome pack you receive on collection of your finished campervan.
