T5 Demo goes to Devon
The VisionTech T5 demo van is complete and up for sale… so what better way to showcase her than on the cliff’s of Devon’s beautiful beaches! We set off on a whim on the Friday August Bank holiday all packed up and ready for an adventure. We hit traffic as suspected, But we could see all the red queue alerts through the SatNav on our integrated Ipad mini dash conversion which led us nicely on our way. We decided to stop off on route, this was fuss free, with roof up, dinner on the portable BBQ and a movie on the ipad. Happy days!
We made tracks down to Devon the next morning in good time, finding a great cliff edge campsite called North Morte Farm in Mortehoe, which we only stumbled across through conversation with the barmaid at the local pub in the area. We had our T5 roof up & camp set up in no time, We opted out of an awning on this getaway and just put a few wind breaks up around the van. We then had the afternoon to explore the cliff walks with the hound! Come the evening we would make dinner, go for a swift few beverages at the local, then watch the sun go down into the sea from camp. The black out curtains are a must – so handy for privacy and for keeping the morning sun at bay. The best bit is the electric rock n roll bed which at the touch of a button comes down making bed time stress free. As there were only two of us there was no need to have the roof bed down. this meant that with the roof bed in the elevated position, we were able to store our bedding, which gave us plenty of room.
I know I am the wife of Visiontech T5’s director, however after years of being tamed to the idea of camping, I can honestly say that this experience in Visiontech’s beautifully designed T5 interiors is such a huge difference from that tent and sleeping bag experience I used to hate so much! It’s taking ‘camping to glamping’ in one big jump! Most ladies like the idea of being warm at night, having a T5 van where you have cupboards and a place for everything, whether it be clothing, food supplies or more importantly being able to drink chilled wine from a hidden fridge! I am one happy camper! Lots more adventures to be had…
